1.) Dahlicious Creamery

Dahlicious creamery is an ice cream lovers dream. With a variety of menu items it feels like everything is here in one place. The menu includes rich ice cream flavors for scoops or ice cream sandwiches with your choice of toppings and over a dozen choices of mouthwatering rolled ice cream. Last but not least the sweet and crunchy “shaved snow” which is their version of shaved ice. Your choice of two toppings for free but can add a scoop of ice cream for a $1 charge. This ice cream shop can do it all.

When Negative 8 Degrees is busy you can wait from 30 minutes to an hour just to get your ice cream but it is all worth it. The way they craft the creamy ice cream in front of you is worth the price itself. Negative 8 Degrees is known to do things differently, no scoops on cones here, only rolls in cups. They shape the ice cream into seven sweet and savory rolls and into a cup. No extra charge for toppings.

A step pasted traditional scoops goes DaVinci Ice Cream. DaVinci’s rich ice cream flavors earn its name as they are a little on the pricier side. Whether it be a scoop in a cone or a scoop in between softly baked cookies, there’s no wrong choice. With 16 plus flavors of rich ice cream and a variety of toppings, a true masterpiece can be created. Other menu items include milkshakes and cookies by half and dozens. Milkshakes are made with real ice cream with your choice to mix and match three different flavors. There is a 50 cent charge per topping.

Rolling Zones is the closest ice cream spot on the list and it also follows the trend of rolled ice cream only like Negative 8 degrees.”Zoners” craft your ice cream in front of you into five thick rolls topped with whipped cream and your choice of toppings. Over 10 flavors of creamy or crunchy ice cream and over 20 topping choices make the selections endless. Additional toppings are an extra charge of 50 cents.

5.) Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

Taking a step back from the fancy menus, Handel’s is the old-fashioned traditional homemade ice cream choice. There is always a spot on an ice cream list for traditional scoops in cones. It’s the simple, smooth and creamy flavors that make it delicious without having to add too much. The different floats, sundaes and splits add to what gives Handel’s that old-fashioned feel. Handel’s have an original menu item called “hurricanes”, which is vanilla ice cream blended with your selected choice of candy or topping.
