A needle is in your arm, blood flowing into tubes and a certified practitioner storing it away; this was the scene of for blood donors.

The beginning of the Inter-Club Council (ICC) blood drive in the Student Activities Center – East Lounge was on March 10.

Many students showed up to the Cedars-Sinai Blood Service sponsored event.

Some students seemed very nervous, as they were sitting down waiting for their name to be called out.

The ICC Blood Drive was a success to Dong Jae Lee, the head student in charge of the drive.

“We’ve got a great number of donors but we always strive to increase that number but unfortunately people don’t like needles,” Lee said.

Lee explained the process of getting blood drawn and process of setting up and planing event like this. He said that “efficiency was a main factor for accomplishing their goals to get as many students to donate as possible.”
