Q: Why did you choose EC?

A: “It’s a place I chose because it’s nearby Southwest College, which is where I learned about it. It’s in the area I wanted to teach. I wanted to teach in the city, where we have group of students.”

Q: What is your main focus in teaching?

A: “My main focus is to teach students to consider the audience and what they hope to get out of every activity they engage in. I want to teach them to take their situation and apply their critical thinking skills that they learn in college.”

Q: How was your transition been from Southwest to EC?

“The people are way too nice… This is so far a really great college. I’m happy and privileged to work with the students here. They are really enthusiastic about learning.”

Q: What are you most looking forward to at EC?

A: “I’m looking forward to getting involved in campus clubs and other activities that assist the college itself.”

Q: Why did you choose EC? Do you have any personal connections with EC?

A: “Well, it’s my first time in a college setting and I chose it because a former co-worker (Ana Milosevic-Nguyen) of mine is an accounting professor here. And she told me about what a great experience she has had and how much she loves it (here). And that is what made me more interested.”

Q: What is your main focus in teaching?

A: “I want to make accounting relevant in their lives. That what they are learning in class, they can engage in their personal or professional lives.”
