Go down Route 66

Sit back and relax as the World Travel Adventure Cinema Series takes you back in history through “Route 66-A Road to Remember,” for a ride that starts in Chicago and ends in Santa Monica.

The series will be presented by Charles Hartman at Marsee Auditorium, Monday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for general admission and $5 for students with a valid ID, seniors and children.

Night out with Tanya Tucker

Country sensation Tanya Tucker rocks Marsee Auditorium Sunday, with her distinct rhythmic style which has gotten her recognition for her music throughout the world.

Tucker’s performance will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $34 general admission and $30 for students with valid ID and seniors.

Oboe and flute concertos

The Beach Cities Symphony takes the stage at Marsee Auditorium tomorrow as flute soloist Rhondda Dayton and oboe soloist Larry Tunick present their “54th Season of Four Five Concerts.”

The concerto begins at 8:15 p.m. but a pre-concert lecture by Barry Brisk will start at 7:30 p.m. Admission to both the concert and lecture are free.

Student One-Acts debut

Directed and performed by students, at this semester’s Student One-Act Plays will be presented at the Campus Theatre.

The plays will be showing tomorrow and Saturday at 8 p.m. on both days.

Students interested may purchase tickets $6 for general seating.
