Coming off a loss at home against the No. 1 seed in the conference forces the El Camino men’s volleyball team (No. 3 seed) into a predicament, where the team could potentially be out of playoffs for the first time in six years.
EC goes on the road against the No. 5 seed in the Western State Conference, Santa Barbara City College on Friday, hoping to solidify the lead it has over Moorpark College.
The team “needs to have the right mindset going into the match and not worry about the other side of the net,” freshman middle blocker Matt Carter said, following the loss against Long Beach.
