The El Camino College beach volleyball team (9-0 overall, 4-0 in the Western State Conference) has quickly become a monstrous force and today, it dominated conference-opponent Ventura College (5-2 overall, 2-2 in conference) 5-0 in match-score.

Things got off to a hot start when sophomore Jewel Yandall, No. 5 pair player, “facialized” an opposing player by smashing a kill off of her face.

“I feel really good about it,” she said. “I can retire now, I (smashed a kill off) a girl in indoor and beach (volleyball). We’ve been pushing and been undefeated so far, as a team on the road to the (championship) it feels really good, we don’t want to fall short like we did last year.”
