Baseball season is underway as the Warriors opened up the season at home with a 3-1 victory against West L.A. College this past Thursday.

“This is going to be a team effort this year,” coach Nate Fernley said. “We may play 10, 11, 12 guys and see how it falls in the end.”

There are plenty of new faces on this year”s baseball team with 20 incoming freshman and only 13 returning sophomores. The new influx of players has certainly changed the structure of the team compared to last year.

“Not to say we weren”t a good team last year, but this team overall is more athletic and explosive online casino slots than last year”s team,” assistant coach Jeff Miera said.

How It Happened: The Warriors got on the scoreboard first when sophomore first-baseman Dylan Hatch flied out to earn the sacrifice RBI, giving EC a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Freshman center-fielder Keyon Allen followed up with a double in the bottom of the fifth inning, setting up a single by sophomore infielder Tony Poncia that brought Allen home. The Warriors would then capitalize on a wild pitch to give them a 3-0 lead.
