Should we bring our troops home from Iraq? (Pro)

Get our troops out of Iraq. Since the war in Iraq was declared over, 88 U.S soldiers have lost their lives. Up until now, no weapons of mass destruction have been found.

Saddam Hussein is nowhere to be found and the Iraqi people see U.S troops as invaders.

There is no point of our troops to be in Iraq. It’s time that the Bush Administration use common sense, and realize that the people of Iraq will not let the United States walk in there and determine the way they should run their country.

More American soldiers have died due to hostilities after the war than during the war itself.

America is not receiving any support from the U.N. or any of its long time allies.

France, for example, is reluctant to help America establish a government in Iraq because the Bush Administration wants everything done on its terms.

With no international help and with Iraqi people who opose our being there, let us leave Iraq.

The proposed Road Map to Peace in Iraq by President Bush is a complete waste of time.

We aren’t going to be able to establish the kind of democratic government that Bush wants.

If the Iraqi people are lucky, they will get a new dictator who isn’t as ruthless as Hussein.

With the extreme fundamentalist religion that exists in that part of the world, it’s only a matter of time before another regime forms.

It’s time Bush leaves Iraq on its own to figure out their own country’s problems and bring our troops home before any more soldiers die.
