Board president expresses interest in hosting Rams practice

Los Angeles finally has a football team again and this could provide El Camino an opportunity to be a part of it.

The St. Louis Rams were confirmed, earlier this January, to return to their former city. Board President, Ken Brown, expressed interest in establishing a relationship with the team and offering EC’s brand new stadium to the franchise as a practice field.

Brown said that the new-and-improved Murdock Stadium would be the closest to the newly planned Inglewood stadium.

The L.A. Rams are planned to play their first season in the L.A. Memorial Coliseum while a construction is underway in Inglewood.

Dean of Athletics, Rory Natividad, said that he had no comment on the matter and Athletic Director Colin Preston said he had never heard about the possibility of the Rams practicing at EC.
