Last day to drop with ‘W’ nears

The final day to drop a class with a “W” is Monday, May 16. Students who drop will receive a “W” on their transcript and will not be eligible for a refund.

Auditions for pep squad this weekend

Got spirit? Pep squad auditions will take place in P.E. 52 tomorrow, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m.

Friday is the day designated for learning the routine and Saturday is reserved for the actual auditions with a brief review of the routine.

Workout clothing and tennis shoes are recommended for the audition.

Program available to aspiring teachers

Students who are interested in becoming teachers are encouraged to join the Teacher Education Program by making an appointment with Cheryl Kroll, TEP counselor.

Retirees honored at upcoming banquet

Circle K will be hosting its End of the Year/Installation Banquet tomorrow. There will be a ceremony rewarding active members, retirement of board officers, installation of new members, a slide show and a dance for all who attend.

Workshop assists disabled students

Designed to assist students with disabilities, the Special Resource Center is offering workshops in areas such as creating a class schedule, using the SRC and other on- and off- campus services.

Book fair opens next week to raise funds

Offering discount prices on books and magazines, the last day of the annual Spring Book Fair will take place today from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the East Lounge of the Student Activities Center.

The free event raises funds for the Schauerman Library and scholorships.

Providing transfer strategies, free lunch and more, the Transfer Conference 2005 will take place tomorrow in the Student Activities Center between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
