Writing workshop offered Wednesday

Students interested in learning tips on writing resumes may attend the “Resume Writing Workshop” Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. in SSVC 106.

Annual book fair returns next week

Books, magazines and other reading materials will be sold at the annual book fair.

The book fair will be Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Activities Center’s East Lounge.

Museum hosts Day of the Dead show

The Anthropology Museum will host a “Dia de los Muertos” art show and reception Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum is located in Art B 301.

The art displayed was inspired by the Mexican day of the dead celebration.

The show ends next Friday.

Workshops ease application process

Students interested in applying to a CSU may attend a workshop today from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in SSC 218A.

Students interested in applying to a UC may attend an application workshop next Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in SSC 218A.

Assistance with online applications will be given from 3 to 4:30 in the Transfer Center.

UC Davis session available Tuesday

UC Davis representatives will conduct an information session Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in SSC 207.

They will also conduct an open drop-in session next Thursday from 9:30 to 11:20 a.m. in the SSC lobby.
