EC club rush concludes today

Today is the last day of club rush, where from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Schauerman Library lawn students may learn about and sign up for various clubs on campus, including religious, academic, cultural and special interest groups.

Workshop helps with application

Students who need assistance in applying for financial aid may attend a workshop next Saturday, Sept. 25, at noon in SSVC 208. 2003 W-2 forms and/or 2003 tax returns, along with other financial statements, must be brought to the meeting.

Torrance seeks two counselors

Two students are needed to become members of the Torrance Youth Council. Duties include attending volunteer and community events as well as city council and commission meetings.

Interested students may pick up applications at local libraries and the parks and recreation department or by calling (310) 618-2949. Applications must be postmarked or delivered by Oct. 5.

University reps visit EC campus

Representatives from several UC, CSU and private universities will be on campus Tuesday at the University Fair to take place on the Schauerman Library lawn from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CSUDH representatives will be available on campus Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon in the Student Services Center.

Representatives from UCLA will be on campus Thursday from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. by appointment in the Student Service Center.
