Graduation nears

For the spring 2004 graduating class, caps and gowns will be on sale Monday, May 17 through June 11 in the student booktore.

Graduation announcements may be purchased until June 11.

For pricing and order information, students may pick up fliers from the bookstore during regular hours.

CSUs visit campus

Representatives will be on campus from the following CSUs for drop-in consultations:

Dominguez Hills: Tuesday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Northridge: Wednesday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.

UCLA comes to EC

Today students have the opportunity to meet with UCLA representatives between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the Schauerman Library lawn.

There will also be an information fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Workshops will be taking place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the Schauerman Library lawn.

At the fair students will have the chance to ask questions and to collect information about admissions, financial aid and more.

Fees due

In order to avoid delays in registration, receipt of grades or other services students should immediately pay any fees due.

They should be paid at the cashier’s office.

Find desired job

The EC Career Center will present a Career Workshop Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Students will have an opportunity to learn strategic methods to finding the jobs they want.

Debating marriages

The Gay-Straight Alliance an the Sociology Club are sponsoring a forensics team debate on gay marriage.

The debate will take place Tuesday, May 18, from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

The debate will take place at the Haag Recital Hall.
