History visits EC

Representatives will be available at the historically Black College Fair today from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Schauerman Library lawn.

Fisk University, Howard University and Bennett College are among some of the colleges that will be on campus to answer any questions students may have.

Discover opportunity

Students will have a chance to discover a world of opportunities by taking the Cal State L.A. tour tomorrow.

Departure time will be 8 a.m. from the Visitor’s Parking Lot on Manhattan Beach Boulevard with a 3 p.m. expected return time.

A refundable $5 deposit is required at the time of sign up. For more information, students may call (310) 660-3408 or visit the Transfer Center.

Financial Aid help

Students may apply for fall 2004 financial aid Monday at 5 p.m. in the Students Service Center, Room 218.

All sessions will last approximately one hour and students should bring their 2003 W-2 forms or 2003 federal tax returns and other financial statements.

Get a job

Students are invited to visit the Aloha Job Fair Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Schauerman Library lawn.

Recruiters will be on hand seeking candidates for full-and part-time employment.

There will also be recruiters seeking candidates for internships.

Students are asked to dress appropriately and to bring their resumes.

Control Anger

Students are invited to attend an “Anger Management” workshop.

The workshop will take place today at 2 p.m. and May 13 at 3 p.m. in the Health Center located near the pool.

The workshop will be led by psychologist Sally Emery.

Students will have an opportunity to learn strategic tips on how to control anger.
