Kathy Mattea to perform

Winner of CMA, ACM and Grammy awards, singer and songwriter Kathy Mattea will be playing modern country music in Marsee Auditorium tomorrow at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $24 to $28.

Exotic sounds from Brazil

Playing tropical Brazilian music and wearing bright green and yellow clothes, a band will perform “Brasil, Brazil Show” at Marsee Auditorium Sunday at 7 p.m.

The band will play Brazilian music with jazz and African Latin drumming.

Tickets are $18 and $12 for children aged 12 and under.

Appreciate Beethoven

With Carolyn Brown, pianist , and Harris Goldman on the violin, music composed by Beethoven will be performed Sunday at 7 p.m. in Campus Theatre.

Tickets are available for $12.

Olmos shares his views

Discussing diversity, Edward James Olmos, actor, producer, director and community activist will be speaking at James Armstrong Theater in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center Sunday at 4 p.m. and tickets are $30.
